Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to Amous TMS.

Amous release 4.19.0

This Amous TMS update helps you keep unsafe drivers off the board with an automatic Safety Hold on expiring licenses and certifications, extends shared accessorials to vendor and fleet-driver rating, and speeds up carrier payables with new payment fields in Mass Invoice Update. It also broadens your integration reach - SMC³ LTL rating, C.H. Robinson tendering, Project44 appointment updates - while a new per-user SSO-only login tightens account security.

Safety Hold for Expiring Driver Documents

We have added a Safety Hold that automatically flags a driver whose license, document, or certification is about to expire. The driver is grayed out across the dispatch screens with a clear warning - "Safety Hold – Driver License", "Safety Hold – Certification" - so they can't be assigned by mistake.

Turn on the Safety Hold toggle in a Fleet Driver's License/Documents - it is available for both Documents and Certifications. Your Amous Admin sets how many days before the expiration date the hold activates; with a 14-day threshold, a driver whose license expires June 30 is placed on Safety Hold on June 16.

Rating Engine: Shared Accessorials for Vendors & Fleet Drivers

We have extended shared accessorials to the Vendor and Fleet Driver rating engine, so they apply the same way they already do in carrier rating - giving you consistent accessorial handling across carriers, vendors, and fleet drivers.

Mass Update Carrier Invoice: Payment Fields

We have expanded Mass Update for carrier invoices to include Payment Date, ACH Number, Check Number, and Check Date, so you can record payment details across many carrier invoices in a single action.

New Integration: SMC³ LTL Rating

We have added an integration with SMC³ (RateWare® XL and CarrierConnect® XL) to bring LTL rating and carrier-connect data into Amous. If you would like this integration set up, please reach out to your Amous Representative.

C.H. Robinson: Receive Tenders & Send Documents

We have expanded the C.H. Robinson API integration so C.H. Robinson can tender shipments directly into Amous - creating the orders automatically - and so documents can be sent back to C.H. Robinson through the API. If you would like this integration set up, please reach out to your Amous Representative.

Project44: Send Appointment Times

We're rolling out an expansion to the Project44 integration that sends appointment times into Project44, giving your visibility partners accurate pickup and delivery windows. If you would like this set up, please reach out to your Amous Representative.

Per-User SSO-Only Login

Building on company-wide Microsoft-only login, we have added a per-user SSO-only setting. When it is enabled on a user's profile, that user can sign in only with SSO - credential login, password changes, and the forgot-password flow are all disabled for them.

You will find the new SSO-only option in the User Profile.

Carrier Payment Terms by State

We have added rules to the main carrier integration that set the payment term based on the origin or destination state, so the correct terms apply automatically by lane.

Your Amous Admin configures the state-based rules in the carrier integration settings.

UI Updates

The UI can now display U.S. states as ISO two-letter codes (e.g. NY, CA, IL), configurable in UI Configs.

Amous release 4.18.0

The latest Amous TMS update sharpens order rating with sortable, filterable rate tables and full visibility into every customer rate, while a searchable All Events column makes it faster to find trips right from the dispatch board. Key additions like Team Driver assignment history, a new Driver Experience field, and Samsara odometer syncing for payroll tighten security, recordkeeping, and compensation accuracy across your operation.

Order Rating: Sort, Filter, and Page Through Rates

We have made the Customer Rates and Carrier Rates tables much easier to work with when creating an order. You can now sort and filter by any field, page through the results, and use the new edit view.

These controls appear when adding carrier and customer rates while creating a new order - sort or filter by any column to find the rate you need faster.

Customer Contract: Show All Customer Rates on the Order

We have updated order rating so all customer rates are shown, even when a customer rate is tied to only one carrier rate – giving you the full picture when selecting rates on an order.

Dispatch Board: Searchable All Events

We have made the dispatch board's general search and the All Events column searchable, so you can find trips by their event details directly from the board.

Cubic Capacity Warning on Trip Details

We have added the Cubic Capacity Guidelines warning to the Trip Details screen. If an item on the trip exceeds cubic capacity guidelines, the same warning icon you see on the Order Details now appears in the top right corner of the Trip Details.

Driver Experience Field

We have added a dedicated Driver Experience field to capture a driver's total commercial driving experience, entered in years and months.

You will find the new field in the Driver Profile.

Team Driver Assignment History

Following the Truck-to-Driver Assignment History, we have added Team Driver Assignment History – showing current and past team driver pairings for a primary driver, with date ranges. Driver contact details are now prefixed with Primary Driver and Team Driver so the pairing is always clear.

Samsara: Odometer on Daily Log

We have expanded the Samsara integration to bring the Odometer value into the Daily Log, so it can be used for payroll compensation rating.

If you would like Samsara configured for your company, please reach out to your Amous Representative.

QuickBooks Integration: new mapping added

QuickBooks now supports tax code mapping for Canadian customers, including a Tax Code State Identifier setting.

Amous release 4.17.0

The latest Amous TMS update streamlines daily operations with Microsoft Single Sign-On for faster, simpler logins and a new ELD-driven notification that alerts dispatchers when a driver has one hour of shift time remaining. Key improvements like Master Invoice division exclusions, mass payment-date updates on carrier invoices, and faster order template editing tighten billing and speed up order creation.

Microsoft SSO Login

We have added Microsoft Single Sign-On, so users can log in to Amous with their Microsoft account. To use Microsoft SSO you would still need the account inside Amous TMS with the same email address that is associated with your Microsoft account. Please reach out to your Amous Representative if you would like help configuring it.

Master Invoice: Exclude Divisions

We have added an Exclude Division option to the Master Invoice, so you can leave out customer invoices associated with the selected divisions when generating a master invoice. To filter divisions, simply use the Exclude Division dropdown selector while creating the Master Invoice.

Order Templates: Update, and Update and Create

We have made it much faster to work with Order Templates:

1. When creating an order from a template, a new "Update the Template" button lets you push your changes back to the original template.

2. Inside Templates > Orders > Edit Template, a new "Update and Create Order" button saves your changes and takes you straight to a new order with the updated template already applied.

3. After editing a template, the Cancel button now returns you to Templates > Orders instead of the Dispatch Board.

Carrier Invoices: Mass Update Payment Due Date

We have added Payment Due Date to the Carrier Invoice mass update, so you can update the due date across multiple invoices at once.

To use it - Go to Carrier Invoices > select the invoices > Mass Actions > Change Invoices > set the Payment Due Date.

Driver Work Shift Hours Notification

We have added a notification that fires when a driver has one hour of shift time remaining, pulled directly from the ELD. It can be sent in-system and by email, and supports a Repeat Type.

To set this up, your Amous Admin will open the Main Menu > Configurations > Communication > Notification Tab > add a new notification using the Driver Shift Remaining trigger. Please reach out to your Amous Representative if you would like help configuring it.

UI & Reporting Updates

  • Available Drivers: added an ETA column you can type into, like the existing notes field.

  • Available Drivers: added a Trailer column you can type into, like the existing notes field.

  • Orders Report: Freight Class is now available as a column.
